The calendar lists the start and end times for Sabbaths, holidays, and fast days for four cities—Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź, and Wrocław—as well as for Syracuse, based on the Kaluach program. Candle-lighting time before the Sabbath and holidays is 18 minutes before sunset. For holidays, the times provided are the start of the first day, the end of the first day (which also marks the beginning of the second day), and the end of the second day. Daylight Saving Time adjustments are included (clocks are changed on the last Sunday of October and the last Sunday of March). For Erev Pesach, the calendar specifies the deadline for consuming chametz and the deadline for possessing it.
